Cakes, Cakes and more Cakes

I have Tanya to blame.. I mean thank for this one!! There is a awesome group of cookbooks out that take a everyday cake mix and turn them into something out of this world!!! The Cake Mix Dr. is the main one and then she has the chocolate and cupcakes... I bought them all! So I have been trying out a few... Monday's was Key Lime Pie Cupcakes ...(green for st. patty's day)
My neighbors don't know if they should hate me or love me!



Tuesday was April's Birthday cake "Texas Sheet Cake" No pics.. That was a pretty basic brownie like cake...

Now the ultimate STRAWBERRY CAKE!! This was Keven's birthday cake last night... And let me tell you EVERYONE LOVED IT!!

Well today that was my total at CVS! Oh and the best is I got 13.00 in ECB in return... What could I have possibly got for .27 you ask? Well, 12 pack of Diet Coke, 2 bottles of Fructis shampoo and a Gillette EMBRACE razor and last but not least 3 candies for the Easter baskets...

Ok off to baseball practice.. But I am going to leave you hanging... I saved over 74.00 at Walgreens today.... Take a guess on how much I spent??? OK I will give you 1 hint.. It wasn't as good as CVS! haha

Just the Girls!

Ok just so you don't think I have totally lost it. Around here all the sport teams do 1 fundraiser each so they make it a big one! It is BASKET BINGO! You play to win Longaberger baskets... I have played a couple of them and NEVER WON! I NEVER WIN! So a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to play she was taking her Grandma and her daughter who is also Ashley's friend... So I said sure! The girls were so funny, And into it! I have to say that I was pretty successful! I won this very cute 2008 Letter Tray basket. And a couple HS football shirts.. The bad thing is the boys were MAD!!! But at 20.00 a ticket I was NOT bringing the WHOLE family! I guess I will have to take one of the boys next month when we go for the girls softball basket bingo~
