Monopoly Jr. for Andrew/ Sean arrives with the TRUCK

Well Monopoly Jr. was Andrew's game pick! Yikes that was a long game!! Pizza was his dinner choice. Since Wednesday night that game has disappeared...This week Sean and Sara closed on their house so we think game night is going to get skipped this week... But Unkie Dell (Sean) is excited about game night so I am sure it will be back next week....

The boys have been sick so things have been a little slow around here.. But today everyone is back in school!!! Yeah! Which is good because we needed to get a 27ft. moving truck unloaded....Which is now FINISHED! Now to the unpacking!

Playing CATCH UP!

Ok where do I start.... My huge savings this past week was at Walgreens. I saved over 82.00 and spent right around 42.00 and I got a ton of cleaning stuff, razors, ink cartridge refilled, computer paper all kinds of stuff... No picture sorry!




Next, well at 2 times last week we were supposed to get about 4-8" of SNOW.. Well all together we maybe got 2-3".... The kids were bummed but they did get a "snow" day out of it.. I promised them on the 1st "school snow day" I would make the pull apart snow man cake.. So here is a pic of that..The 1st one is goofy! My kids don't like a lot of icing (you are supposed to squish it together and ice the ENTIRE THING.) Thats why they are a little "loose" as Andrew said.
This one was a little better put together.. Again didn't want to use all the icing they tell you to use.. FYI yes this was 1 cake mix! (note to self!) We did end up sharing with the neighbors.. They enjoyed the snow day cake as well.

Ok last but not least.. I just think this is just too sweet not to share. OK Saturday the kids were waiting and waiting for the snow to start... Andrew had opened the blinds in his room so he could let us know when the snow started.. Well about 3 we put all the kids in their rooms to read because they were, well driving us nuts... About 1 hour later Andrew comes out and says " I prayed to god that it would snow! And guess what? What we reply. Andrew says"he gave me my prayer back!, it's snowing!!" I just thought that was too sweet not to share.

BINGO

Bingo was the game of choice tonight... It was fun... It did get a little loud at times but I think the kids are just excited about the snow tomorrow... We all had our own "bingo stampers" Andrew calls them "dibbers" so when he was able to mark a number on each card it was a "double dibber" we all thought that was pretty cute! Oh Austin wants me to make sure everyone knows his dinner was Beef Stroganoff....

I am sure I will have tons of pictures tomorrow...

SNOW!

Tuesday I was in the office working on an order and all of a sudden it got real dark outside.... I opened the blinds and this is what I saw!!! SNOW!

It didn't last very long... But the weather man has the kids all excited for a "real" snow tomorrow!!!!

1st Game night in 2008

We have started our weekly game night again! This week it was Ashley's turn... Her dinner was chicken divan.... And her game of choice was SCRABBLE.. She was in charge of teams so of course she grabbed Aunt Sara, I had Andrew and Austin and Keven were a team... Well Austin and Keven came in 1st place... Ashley in 2nd and Andrew and I brought up the rear! We have informed Sean and Sara that since they are only going to be 1 block away they have to come and play!!! Austin has week two.! Here are a couple pics of the night!

Let the Shopping or should I say SAVINGS begin

Ok some of you know Tanya and I love to compare bargins we find on our outtings. Well just before Christmas I was out and between CVS, Target and K Mart I was spent just about 28.00 on this.

Well today Kroger and CVS were on the list... Between the 2 I spent just under 28.00 and have 6.00 in CVS Extra Care Bucks to use next time I am there (free money)... Just to give you an idea my total at Kroger before my card was swiped and coupons was 51.00..... And CVS was around 18.00 (my actual total was 5.04)!!! No pic of what I bought today... But you get the idea!

2 Days in a row!!!

Ok the kids went back to school today after being home for 2.5 weeks... So what did mom do.. That's right headed to Richmond... Target was my 1st stop.. I found a new CUP for The Sew Sweet Boutique!!! Right now the only colors I have are teal and purple.. They aren't even on playtex.com yet... I am going to try to work on getting the fabric page up this weekend.(I do have some super cute fabric that would look AWESOME with both colors) But for now here is a picture of the cups!

I promised Tanya that I would start this blog back when school started! lol... I tried... Well I am going to try again!









We have been very blessed this past year.. We made a move back to Virginia. Where we are so happy and are very thankful everyday that we moved! As for the house in Southaven, well we were unable to sell our house in Mississippi so we are now landlords! haha...



The kids have adjusted very well to small town life... To explain it to all my Florida buddies, it's like going up in Tequesta all over again (except the beach is 2.5 hours away not 2.5 miles! lol).
